Jhonny Evidence

Jhonny Evidence comes from Higüey, Dominican Republic, and he carries the roots of bachata in everything he sings. He writes his own songs, moving between the slow, romantic bachata he grew up with and up-tempo tracks made for dancing.

Working with DerekVinci as his producer and manager, he has built a deep catalog with EQS Música: originals like Un Amor En Bachata, Tu Manera and Llora Corazón with Mr. Don, bachata covers of Bachata Rosa and Hawái, and the album Jhonny Evidence Clásicos de la Bachata.

His recent releases — Ábreme la Puerta from the Sensual Bachata project with El Tiguere, Brujería, Cantinero, Infiel with Laura Alcoba, Si No Te Amara with Bachata Sweet and Sube el Telón — keep traditional Dominican bachata alive for a new generation.
