DerekVinci

DerekVinci is the founder of EQS Música, and the music has been his life's work. He started the label in Boston in 1998 and carried it to Orlando in 2006, building it one record, one artist and one session at a time. He is known as “The CødeBreaker.”

Behind the console, he is an audio engineer and producer who has worked with legends — Daddy Yankee, Marc Anthony, Anthony Santos, Nicky Jam, La India and more. That experience shapes how every EQS record is made.

But EQS is not a one-man operation. DerekVinci builds it as a team: a roster of artists and a crew of engineers, creators and business minds, all pushing the genre forward together. His job is to develop talent, protect the sound and open the doors that take tropical music from Orlando studios to international stages.
